It isn't actually aesthetic. I liked the non-button links. It is 
functional. Now, search engines will not trigger these. Viewing diffs and 
versions is expensive computational wise and could cause a site to crash 
(or at least seem really slow) if a search engine nails these. Likewise, 
search engines should not create new pages.

Not an easy way, but it is possible.

I think this one is a keeper, unfortunately. If someone comes up with a 
better way to keep search engines from being evil, I'm willing to work 
on it, but I don't see any way to do a POST request from a textual link.
