Well the idea is perfect, necessary. One would like to have a morphic
projectx.pr that
either other people are also working on, or it is a private project that you
are storing
on a server so that you can 'walk the earth' and sit down at any computer
and start working on it again. This makes your personal 'desktop' (pardon
the expression) - idea space - finally floppyZipJazzDiskless.
So if I can't change the save project to server list that comes from the
navigator bar...
(where does that list come from in the code anyway?); no problem, a work
around is
to upload from the swiki page and target the plugin frame. So I update
projectx.pr
on the swiki and get a projectx.1.pr (r2) link with two projects now on the
server.
Is there a way to limit the accumulation of backup versions on the server
(local
also). I think I remember some discussion of this.
The saddest part is the need to save inner morphic worlds before the parent
(maybe this is not for the swiki list but...). This is backwards, one would
like to be
free to spawn endless nested hierarchies without having to back out
carefully each
time. Do I have that right?
