If the question was what printed out the messages you did get, finding references to 
Transcript yielded a bazillion, but there were a couple in SMTPSocket and the one 
responsible is

        SMTPSocket>>getSMTPResponse

If the question is how to induce it to print the entire message to the transcript, 
then SMTPSocket>>data: looks like the place that sends the message. You could add code 
here to print the message.
