Just a small matter of programming. Seriously though...

Just delete the files from the directory and restart the server.

It depends on how accurate you want to be. If you put <body
bgcolor="green" text="white"> in the CoWeb text, you'll get your
background colors on most browsers. Also, adding a background to a
colorscheme isn't hard. Just edit the colorScheme.sm file to include a
background. I'm against all but white backgrounds, so none of my color
schemes have other background colors.

ftp them and restart the server. Bolot created a drag-n-drop upload
module with the Squeak plug-in. If you bother him enough, he may be
willing to pass that along.

Why recycle pages? They hardly waste any space. The only place you'd
actually see them is at the way bottom of recent changes. Since you'll
never run out of numbers, recycling pages is much ado about nothing.
