Typically, that's something you need to work out with your university 
system administrators.  They're the ones who can associate a domain 
name (the user-friendly version) with the numbers.  (You could 
actually register your own domain name, e.g., www.naala.org, but if 
you do that behind the backs of the university techies, they get 
annoyed and stop doing you favors :-)
