>To recap:

[...complicated description deleted...]

I have managed to discover a way of using a proxy to re-route swiki
calls to a new port, but for those of you who are trying this, there
is some very complicated detail in setting up the uploads folder so
that (a) it is served through the correct path, and (b) it handles
the ?history=true suffix that version control uses. To avoid using up
bandwidth, I can explain that offline to anybody who wants to serve
swikis through WebSTAR.

I do still want to know whether the uploadPath and uploadURL are
mutually exclusive, and when they're used.

Best to all,
Bill
