    this is the approach I most like, I think we should go this way! Unixes use
this same pattern for LOCALE internationalization, and when there is no translation
associated with a given message, they use the message as default (i.e. no language file
needed for english).

    Aren't there any 'standards' for internationalization in other Smalltalks? I'm 
almost
sure that there are in VW...
