No, it just produces

gfx_by_gimp.gif+>http://www.gimp.org/

(as though the parser can't tell image from alias and gives up). 

Actually, looking at this, I'd have tried ( = wished for?) either

*+gfx_by_gimp.gif+*>http://www.gimp.org/

or

**+gfx_by_gimp.gif+*>http://www.gimp.org/*


Neither of which work. It's actually something of a dilemma: Ned's
version is simpler, but requires html knowledge, while the others are
pure Comanche, but would require a bit of work and seem to me harder to
get your head around.

I'm not sure they'd really be on my wish list, but as I'm running 1.1
now, it'll have to go down for 1.2 ;-)
