Could be: I've had similar problems with authentification from Linux/Netscape 4.7* to a First Class server (think of a cheap and nasty Lotus Notes) running on NT. I've a vague recollection of reading that Microsoft eventually acknowledged that this kind of situation was a bug on the OS side and posted a patch, but I could never get the administrator of that NT box to acknowledge that it was their problem and go look for it. (Google might be a better place to try than Microsoft's knowledge base!) Cheers John
