First, thanks for Comanche/pws. Initially I put Comanche up on my local Linux box just to play with it, get the feel, and generally get used to it so I could pop stuff on minnow more easily.
Then it occured to me that here was an easy way to do something I'd thought of before, but couldn't really justify the time to set up: a community site where people could post items for sale. (This would be as a sort of annexe to a commercial site selling advertising for other stuff). OK, so I'd need to implement quotas, do the odd check to see that no-one was posting ads for (ahem) personal services or popping in links to porn sites, and find some way of blocking access to offenders, but essentially such a Swiki should be pretty much self maintaining. Then again, as a Squeaker, I really should be eating my own mouse food! I just wondered what kind of spec people are running their Comanches on and if there are any other issues I should look at? Cheers John -- If you don't care about your data, like file systems which automagically destroy themselves and have money to burn on 3rd party tools to keep your system staggering on, Microsoft (tm) have the Operating System for you.
