'Sorry if this has been discussed already. I noticed there was some
discussion of uploading trouble on various configurations, but I didn't
see the following particular symptoms...
I downloaded
http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/swiki/uploads/10/ComSwiki.1.zip from
http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/swiki/10 ("Windows Server Download"), and
ran it on a Windows 98 SE machine, accessing it via Netscape 4.78 on the
same machine.
The admin pages come up. When I try to create a new swiki, I usually
get "A network error occurred while Netscape was sending data. (Network
Error: Connection reset by peer) Try connecting again.". Sometimes I
get a new page from the swiki which says "Your create request failed.
The parameter name was not transmitted."
When I try to upload something, I only ever get the network error
message from Netscape.
I get what seem to be equivalent statements of no-joy from Scamper in
Squeak 3.2a.4461.
Everything seems groovy when using an OpenBSD box for the swiki, by the
way. (But I find myself wanting a swiki for a closed LAN in a remote
room, with no way to talk to the OpenBSD machine, and only said w98se
machine available for serving.)
