The network is running with an ADSL link and fixed ip's.

We have got a fire wall running , but it is configured to allow port 80
Apache works fine on the same machine. I did try it on ports 8080 and 8888
but get the same results. I have tried this on two NT machines at different
sites, unfortunately I don't have access to any other Windows systems to
try.

Is there anyway to tell Squeak what the local ip is ?

Regards

Bill

I think this may be a problem with your machine and/or local network's
configuration rather than with the swiki. Can you describe your local
network setup? Some hosts and/or networks (or ISPs) block port 80. You
might try changing the swiki to use port 8080 instead. Also, if you
have a firewall, it may block nearly everything by default and you may
need to do something to tell the firewall to (a) allow port 8080 (or 80)
through and (b) forward that port to a specific machine on the local
network.

Anyway, it's possible that describing your network setup may give the
clue needed to figure this out.
