Hello, As the subject line suggests, I, humbly, submit a Swiki feature request.
Scenario: I am creating several project Swikis that I need to be read-only except for registered users (people with username:pasword combos). Registered users will be able to create and edit both text- and project-based pages. Problem: As it stands, if I select "Read Only" as "the security level without user identification" (under "Default Privileges" in a Swiki's security settings), identified users can edit and save text pages but not project pages. I know that a possible workaround is to "Allow All" in the "Default Privileges," and simply request that registered users "Lock" pages and projects, but this is unreliable as a Swiki-wide solution. Feature Request: I ask that, in the next version of Swiki, the ability to edit and save projects also be unlocked once a user identifies him/herself. One possible solution would be to request a username:password when a user clicks "Save," similar to what happens when a user selects "Edit" on a text page of a read-only Swiki. Thanks, John
