Hi, For doing a simple HTML-mirror of a swiki I successfully used httrack (http://www.httrack.com/). (I can send my wiki-mirror script to anyone who's interested)
As an example, have a look at the Squeak-Swiki mirror: http://www.ira.uka.de/~marcus/swiki/ But this is of course no real backup, because it only mirrors the renderd pages. For backup-purpose you can simply archive the directory with the .xml files, this should be easy to do. But: the best solution would be a "life" offline swiki that can syncronize with the original...
