svn/pypy/dist/pypy has an svn:external sibling "py" lib at
svn/pypy/dist/py and if you put pypy/dist on PYTHONPATH 
then the py lib this py lib is used.  So you are still
using a py lib's channel, not a "pypy one" :)

I consider it a relatively normal PYTHONPATH issue.
