Wild guess: did you fill in 'host' in the xml file? Did you try the FT 2 or 3 times, I tried on the other evening, and it only worked on the third try.

I filled it in and it got further than before (marking the file as "stalled" at 0%). I see a similar issue in the archives: http://modevia.com/pipermail/py-transports/2006- February/002085.html so will just hope for a fix in future. I do have the XML stream of the transfer captured, if that would help. Well I'm currently waiting for another MSN contact to come online so that I can test it again. In case it's useful, the XML stream for the file transfer can be found here (with server changed): http://www.iteu.gla.ac.uk/raj/ftxmlstream.txt Cheers, Raj. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (MingW32) iD8DBQFEAx6m4QHnsKZu8OQRAoxkAKCDeO8I3xxC2D0qugytWnkNRtCOhQCdGR+g DC6BE/06N5WL/4gL9i+4mOA= =mLuN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 27 20:12:57 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (James Bunton) Date: Mon Feb 27 20:12:56 2006 Subject: [py-transports] File transfer problems with PyMSNt In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Do you have a data transfer proxy set in Psi? Have a look in account setup, or preferences, and put in the JID of a proxy65 component there. The alternative is to make sure that the gateway can connect to your client on port 8010. That is, your client cannot be behind a NAT, or firewalled. --- James On 27/02/2006, at 11:48 PM, Rajnish Bhaskar wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Dear all, > I recently installed PyMSNt 0.11 on a server running alongside > ejabberd 1.0 (upgrading from PyMSNt 0.10). > > I can send files to MSN contacts through my client (Psi 0.10) > fine, but when I try to receive, I get this error: > > "Unable to connect to peer for data transfer > > Ensure that your Data Transfer settings are proper.
