I was asked about that issue too.

Just want to know your opinion - (I haven't read XMPP RFC for ages). Do you 
think that we should support non-valid xml or should continue dropping it 
just like now?

BTW the best workarounds to this problem that I can think of is to 
reestabilish connection to server w/o crash.
