It already uses XEP-0050 for service administration (connect all users, get connected users, edit admin list, restart/shutdown server). It's also possible to connect/disconnect from the server, and request motd or rules. What other commands can you think of? (Currently I guess you could add all the nickserv/chanserv/etc commands) Is changing the codepage once you're connected _that_ important? I can't think of a condition where you'd want to be able to do that.
