I am running eJabberd 1.1.3, with PyICQ-t and PyAIM-t 0.8. When I first got them running (a few weeks back), everything seemed perfect for a few days. Now, with zero changes on the server, I often have presence problems (with AIM and ICQ users), and _always_ seem to have "status message" problems.
When an AIM contact goes idle, I rarely see their away message (I definitely used to, even with this exact setup!). Most of the time I see that they are "idle", but if I log out and launch the AIMEXPRESS app in my browser, I see their full away message and state, etc. On occasion, they simply disappear from my roster entirely, sometimes showing up later on (perhaps hours later). Obviously, this is maddening, only because I'm sure it used to work. I'm wondering if I accidentally touched something that I didn't realize.
