I found out yesterday that the official Gentoo portage package of pyicq-t had been including such a patch (see http://www.mail-archive.com/py-transports@blathersource.org/msg01898.html and http://ftp.belnet.be/linux/gentoo-portage/net-im/pyicq-t/files/pyicq-t-0.8-twisted-2.5.patch). Anyone know offhand if this is the proper way of doing this?
