This is a bug in PyAIMt. It doesn't detect the mark-up properly. Older 
verions didn't have this problem. Even messages from PyICQt to PyAIMt 
appear with formatting in the messages.
There isn't really anything to configure, the bug can only be fixed at 
one point. I thought it was on Blathersource already, but it seems it 
wasn't. I guess this still isn't fixed in Subversion? (I haven't been 
able to upgrade to the latest stuff myself yet.)
If you are running Subverion or the latest release, can you report the 
bug on Blathersource?
