I'm trying to migrate an existing Jabber server from the older jabber plugin transports to the current python transports. However, I can't seem to get the new MSN transport to use the old transport's spool file. Based on the website:
> If you are migrating from an older version of the transport > (including the C version), you can copy your existing spool directory > into the new location. > Don't forget to rename it to the 'jid' value you specified on > config.xml However, I've tried this and I keep getting this message from transport: > Sorry. You do not appear to be registered with this transport. Please > register and try again. If you are having trouble registering please > contact your Jabber administrator. The transport works if I register, but I don't want to make all the server users register. I'm hoping that someone can point me to a solution. -- Jamin W.
