There's a small bug in glue.py. If you try to use the patch, add
self.gotadditionalXFR = 0 to reset the flag I introduced, so that a
normal connection loss will function as intended. I am still looking
for someone that knows the code a little, so that we can maybe use the
_fireCalback.
