Woops, I meant router.log, but never mind the configuration file answers my questions.
You need to register with the transport (this is one one those features you asked about). To do this you will need to briefly use another IM client (such as Psi or Gajim). Once you've logged in with another client, you will need to open the service discovery window, and there you will see a list of services that you jabber server supports. One of these services will be the yahoo transport. You will then be able to register with the transport (i.e. give it your yahoo username and password, so that it knows who to log in as). Once this is complete it will import your previous yahooc contacts, and you will be able to message them. If the contact's yahoo address is [EMAIL PROTECTED], then his 'transported' address will be bob%yahoo.de @yahoo.localhost'. Hope that helps Cheers Norman On Wed, Jul 16, 2008 at 1:40 PM, Oliver Block <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hello Norman, > > sm.log has no related entries. > > > My guess is that the transport hostname isn't matching what you're trying > to > > access, so having that info will help clear things up. > > <jid>yahoo.localhost</jid> > <confjid>chat.yahoo.localhost</confjid> > <host>jabberd.block...</host> > <discoName>Yahoo!
