I have recently reinstalled my server to FC9 with Jabberd 2.1.23 with
python and python-twisted etc all up to day. Having got jabberd up and
running I began to install PyMSNt, after experiencing the CVR0 issue
on my previous setup it was the first problem I solved, but after
configuration, while the transport is visible in Discovery Browser and
I am able to register when I click log-in nothing happens. I switched
to running pymsnt in the console with debuglevel set to 4 but in the
output there is absolutely no evidence of it even attempting to
connect to the server:
[2008-08-19 00:57:19] Starting factory <legacy.msn.msn.DispatchFactory
instance at 0x91d202c>
[2008-08-19 00:57:19] INFO :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ::  ::
_getNotificationReferral :: glue.LegacyConnection :: {'self':
'instance', 'dispatchFactory': <legacy.msn.msn.DispatchFactory
instance at 0x91d202c>, 'd': <Deferred at 0x91d2bec>, 'timeout':
<function timeout at 0x91b9f44>}

I am able to `telnet messenger.hotmail.com 1863` from the shell on the
same machine so I don't believe it is a firewall issue yet I still get
the fatal error:
Failed to connect to MSN servers: [Failure instance: Traceback
(failure with no frames): <type 'exceptions.Exception'>: Timeout]

I have no experience with python so I am not sure how to debug this
further. Can anyone help?
