ah, refound the original message :)
 
perhaps you really should upgrade to fedora 9, as fedora 7 will fall in legacy 
(if this didn't already happen) and will no longer suppoorted. No, i don't 
think its the jabber-server, i use also ejabberd but you will find it in the 
fedora 9 extra-repositories. you will also find the pymsn-transport there.
