I am moving from the old c-based aim transport to PyAIMt. PyAIMt does not seem to able to read the spool files from the c-based aim transport. When I log into the Jabber server it tells me that I am not registered with the aim transport. However, my registration information is in the xml file that I copied from the spool of the old transport. I copied my old aim spool files to the PyAIMt spool at /usr/local/jabberd/spool/aim.jabberserver.uark.edu/le and set the location to the spool directory in the <spooldir> tag in config.xml like this <spooldir>/usr/local/jabberd/spool</spooldir> The documentation says "There are multiple 'drivers' for the transport's spool. The default and most basic is called '''xmlfiles''', and is capable of automatically converting the spool that the c-based aim transport<http://aim-transport.jabberstudio.org/> uses." I am using the "xmlfiles" driver. It tried using the migrate.py tool but it failed to run and said:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "migrate.py", line 40, in ? Import debug ImportError : No module named debug Is PyAIMt really able to use the old c-based aim transport xml files or am I getting something wrong in my configuration?
