Hi, after many bug reports google talk registration is still broken. Very oddly in the past weeks it has worked for while, but now it appears broken again. Indeed the problem is very simple, since google talk fails in handling domain jids, and therefore the client can't subscribe to the transport's presence. Since I don't expect Google to resolve the problem soon, what about addressing the problem by allowing to set the transport jid to something like [email protected]? In this way google will accept the initial subscription and then everything will proceed fine.
