I was using 0.4 release for a while until yahoo changed their allowed protocol that broke it. Just today I pulled the latest revision from github, copied over config.xml file and it works. Problem is every time I login with Psi I get about 12 authorization requests from bots/ spammers/etc. I'll hit deny on each of them, restart psi, and they all show up again. I tried adding all of them and then deleting them afterwards and again when I restart it has the requests again. I double checked my roster and they're not listed. I deleted the database file and after re-registering with the transport got the same requests again. So it seems like these are people being sent by yahoo's servers but all other clients know to ignore them.
I've logged in directly using pidgin and these people aren't listed, in fact I don't have any contact requests. My only conclusion is these are contact requests that were sent and then the accounts were deleted before I could deny them. Is there some way to determine where these people are coming from and how to stop them from constantly asking for authorization? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "py-transports" group.
