Greetings, I’m Mr. Andrea Bodrati, I’m the CTO at Jabbin, an open source PSI fork aimed to add voice and social capabilities to PSI.
We would like to make an external component/gateway to integrate in Openfire server letting Jabbin users to retrieve and update their online twitter status via APIs but our current programmers don’t have the required experience. Could you be interested ? We already have a working Skype gateway written in Python some parts of we could use as a base to add following functionalities : 1) Collect user access details and store in the gateway 2) Collect all the new posts/timeline (including distinct comments on each post and poster avatar, if supported) using Twitter API 3) Reply/comment to single posts 4) Update twitter status We would not like to update presence (no need), nor to add contacts/ friends on the roster. We will need to have details about social network, poster name, post id (to reply/comment), post date since we will later need to organize/ manage received posts on Jabbin side. We should find an appropriate container for the above details without changing Jabbin too much so I believe that using regular chat messages would be the best way. In case you should need any other details/specs please feel free on asking. Cheers, Andrea -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "py-transports" group.
