Hi Joseph,
As a note, pydev-code is suitable for questions related to development of
PyDev itself, user support should go through stackoverflow (using the
'pydev' tag) and bugs/feature requests to
https://sw-brainwy.rhcloud.com/tracker/PyDev .
Related this one, I think this should actually be working as you wanted in
recent versions (previously, PyDev really used sys.executable, but in
latest versions, it should keep the path passed by the user -- you still
can't specify exactly the same path multiple times, but creating multiple
paths for the same executable should definitely work).
So, if you are actually using a recent version of PyDev, please create a
bug report.
Cheers,
Fabio

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
