You can change the keybinding for all (e.g.: changing ctrl+space for alt+/,
as in the emacs mode), but there is currently no way to separate when you
want to show only templates for a keybinding and only completions for
another (you should add a feature request for that).
To see/change the keybindings you can press ctrl+shift+L (1 or 2 times).

It's a pain in the butt to hit ctrl + space all the time, I have to pull
my hand away slightly to hit ctrl.
