Hi Fabio,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I seem to have many folders in my project I would like to index (almost all of them, actually). Is adding just the root folder enough? If not, is there a way to collectively add a set of folders?

Thanks,

Renen Elal

You can use the 'create folder' to make a link to an existing directory (under advanced) and put that folder into your pythonpath (http://www.fabioz.com/pydev/manual_101_project_conf2.html ). Note that it has to be the same linked folder to be added to your pythonpath (pydev currently only works with linked folders that are set as the source folder).

Cheers,

Fabio

Hi,

I would like to start using PyDev on an existing project directories (not eclipse source directories). Is there a way to "index" the new files and folders to PyDev, so it will mark unused variables and unknown arguments?

Thanks in advance,
