You can (unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying). Jython treats
'dividerLocation' as a property (since there are getters and setters for it).
And you can add properties as a named parameter (which is why my example works
fine in case you pass in an int). In my eyes that is one of the best things
about jython.

Nope, it results in:
TypeError: can't convert 0.25 to int
