Thank you very much for the quick reply, Fabio. It's great to get support so fast. I'll post a bug report at eclipse.org as you suggest. I haven't tried it with a simpler install of Eclipse and Pydev, but I will. I'll need to find the smallest set of extensions that will let me run my JEE app. Pydev itself seems to work fine, for what little I've used it so far. The problem only appears after Pydev is installed and I use Eclipse to run my JEE app with Tomcat. It may be a large number of extensions as you say. It doesn't seem like many to me, though. I didn't mention that I also tried increasing the memory allocated to Eclipse, but that didn't help.
