Pardon my ignorance if what I ask is an FAQ but queries on Google and browsing through this forum didn't get me anywhere. I decided to "give it a try" with Eclipse 3.2 and PyDEV as a python development platform and I instantly got "stuck". I used KDevelop before for the same tasks and I got used to convenience it provides with ability to navigate not only by files but also by Classes. People who've used KDevelop probably know what I'm talking about. However I can't seem to get any similar functionality out of Eclipse. What's more - I can't use and "Outline" view and double click on an imported class of function to jump to it. All it does - directs me to the import statement which is not what I need. I tried to enable Hierarchy View but this one doesn't produce any results at all. Is there a "Special" dependency for that to function? I do like other aspects of PyDEV functionality which is why I'm trying to figure out how to get around the current hurdles and start using Eclipse+PyDEv as a primary development platform. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
