Hello All,

I have a question related to the licensing of pydev extentions, or more
precisely,
I would
like to request a feature to optionally disable the non-free features of an
installed pydev + extentions combo, if the license does not exist or expired.
If I can save this setting in a file somewhere in the
eclipse installation it would be great, would make deplying a pre-configured
Eclipse Zip file to multiple
hosts easier.

The reason is mainly legal.

The company I work for purchased 10 pydev extentions that have expired. We are
now in the process
of obtaining a site license, however that might take some time.

In the mean time, the situation is we have 10 computers with the non-free
plug-in
installed, and working.
Legally this might create a problem for us, since the non-free plug-in is still
functional. We are effectively using something we didn't pay for. The
alternative
is un-installing the non-free part on all 10 computers, which is labor
intensive.
If the feature above was implemented, then there would be no
problem. But now, we are in a situation which is not clear legally.

Any thoughts?

TIA, Gal.
