Well... looks like I have to give up.

I let PyDev find it's beloved C:\libs\Python-2.6.1\ path and the python.exe
within it... and code completion works.

Hell knows where it still retrieves that path from.

Even changed the Python install path value in the registry (
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Python\Pythoncore\2.6\InstallPath]), then logged
out and back into Windows.

Yet, still: !MESSAGE The interpreter location found does not exist.
C:\libs\Python-2.6.1\python.exe

Hmpf.
