What was the repository you used? (http://pydev.sourceforge.net/updates or http://www.fabioz.com/pydev/updates/)? Just as a note, I've just tested it with both and it seems to work (on eclipse 3.4.1). It could be that the internet went down exactly at the time you were trying (but it seems to be OK now). If it still fails, you can try the .zip install...
