Works ;-) But just to let you know (and other interested), what I usually recommend is getting the most stripped down version for Pydev (if you're not using Jython). To get that version, choose "other downloads" (in the eclipse classic session) and get the "Platform Runtime Binary", which has what's needed to run Pydev (aside from Pydev itself that you have to install separately). Now, if you also need Jython, you should get the "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers".
