Hi Attila, I think that the best way to create a project would be using org.python.pydev.plugin.PyStructureConfigHelpers.createPydevProject() The documentation in that function should explain what's needed. I think that the problem you're having is that the source folder must be a workspace-relative path, while the external is any folder in the filesystem (using that helper provides a safer and more user-friendly API to handling those so that you don't have those problems).
