Really strange... usually, if the debugger is acting weird, the 1st thing I do is cleaning all the .pyc files (inside of the eclipse plugins and in the projects -- sometimes python doesn't handle the .pyc files very well). Also, do you have a specific error when evaluating expressions? What exactly happens? Do you have something in your error log?
