Fabio, I had read this and I had already tried to reinstall twice. I even completely removed Eclipse and started from scratch. I used the \"Classic\" Eclipse package and used the \"unzip in dropin-directory\" method for installing Pydev. Each time I got the same error message as listed above. This morning I started from scratch again, first removing Pydev and Eclipse. However, this time I selected the Java Eclipse package and used the \"Update from website\" method to install Pydev. Now it works! So, I don\'t think the problem had something to do with corrupted files. I think the problem originates either from the combination (Eclipse Classic - Pydev) or from the \"unzipping in dropin-dir\" method for installing Pydev. (or maybe it\'s just me...) Anyway, I\'m a happy camper now... Thanks again for helping me out, Willem. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Pydev-users mailing list Pydev-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pydev-users
