I am developing an eclipse RCP application and I want to use PyDev to edit/run python scripts inside the application. I also need to get PyDev\'s interactive console to show when my application starts. The first problem I encountered is that I need to configure the python interpreter when the application launches. I\'ve been looking into this for a while and haven\'t found anything useful to achieve it. Is there any way to configure the interpreter codewise at launch time? I would also like to know if there is any way to run python scripts without having them inside a PyDev project, since I\'m using a special project configuration for this application. The last thing would be launching the PyDev interactive console when the application starts, is there any way to work this out? I started using eclipse RCP recently and found out about PyDev a couple weeks ago, so I\'m pretty much new to all this :) Thanks for your help, Eduardo P. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
