Not sure what you\'re trying to achieve there, but using the parser would be just using the pydev API (not really extension point). For an example using the parser see: org.python.pydev.parser.PyParserTestBase.parseLegalDoc(IDocument, Object[], PyParser) As for the pydev package explorer, I\'m not really sure what you want there, so, it\'s hard to comment on it.
