Can you add a feature request for that? Also, it'd be nice if you can post a sample code you want to debug... It seems a bit strange that you want to debug an event that comes from the gui but don't want the gui frozen, or that's not the case? So, if you can elaborate a bit on your use case in the feature request, it'd be nice.
