I'm trying to move development from Textmate to Eclipse on Snow Leopard.

We use tabs for indentation in python source and as such we find ourselves
indenting
and dedenting blocks of text. I have the two options below set.

1/ General/Editors/Text Editors
Insert spaces for tabs. unclicked

I also turn on Show whitespace characters

2/ Pydev/Editor
Replace tabs with spaces with typing.
In our tab indented world this is also off.

I indent and dedent with Tab & Shift/Tab which unfortunately inserts Spaces
not Tabs. I can use the Source menu item (which is not avaialble as a key
shortcut.)
Convert tabs to space tabs & Convert Space Tabs to tabs. But this is rather
involved. IS there any way of inserting tabs when the Tab key is pressed to
indent?

Eclipse SDK

Version: 3.6.0

PyDev for Eclipse 1.6.2.2010090812
