What you could do is start eclipse with those variables configured... that way,
the shell that has Eclipse would already work with those variables...  (and
the new python instances should also inherit those variables).

i.e.:
./mod_libtbx.python.sh --will modify the current shell variables
./eclipse --start eclipse with the variables set before

Now, when you launch python, all should be OK (the only problem is that if you
need to change your variables you have to restart eclipse).
