Sorry for bumping year old topic but I've lost quite some time to only figure out that missing py files are responsible for broken code completion (searching through the web proves I'm not the only one lost). Some Linux distributions provide only pyc/pyo files for their system libraries, which should not make any problem. I don't know what's pydev approach to completion of python code - static analysis of source files which would require .py files but would be damn hard to do or through introspection which should be easy to achieve and wouldn't require .py files. Is there any reason why pydev requires .py files? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Software Download: Index, Search & Analyze Logs and other IT data in Real-Time with Splunk.
