Hello, I figured out the source of this problem but not the solution. I have updated the version of jython that pydev uses internally (i need a newer version because of limitations of jython 2.1). I did this by going to the plugins\org.python.pydev.jython_1.6.5.2011020317 directory and replace the jython.jar file and the lib directory with files from jython 2.5.2. This causes the problem indicated in this thread with the missing error messages. Do you know what else I need to change to be able to use a newer version of jython? thanks, brian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enable your software for Intel(R) Active Management Technology to meet the growing manageability and security demands of your customers.
